In short: we collect only what your invitation needs, never see your payment details, don’t use tracking or advertising cookies, and never sell your information.
1Who we are
This policy explains how Vbook Studio (“we”, “us”), 1st Cross Road, Munnekolal, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560037, India, handles personal information on vbookstudio.com, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2What we collect
- Invitation details you enter: the couple’s names, family names, wedding and celebration dates and times, venues and addresses.
- Payment records: the Razorpay order and payment IDs, the amount and its status. Razorpay processes your payment; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the information you give them.
- Technical information: your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to protect the service from abuse. We don’t keep it in our database.
3How we use it
Only to create, publish, display and let you edit your invitation, to confirm your payment, to answer your questions, and to meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
4Who can see your invitation
Your invitation is shown to anyone who has its link, so share it only with the people you’re inviting. Invitation pages ask search engines not to list them, and each link is long and random so it can’t be guessed.
5Storage on your device
The editor saves your draft and your private edit links in your own browser’s local storage, so you can come back to them. This stays on your device and isn’t sent to us. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
6Service providers
- Razorpay, to process payments.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and your invitation data securely.
- Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces and may receive your IP address when a page loads.
- Google Maps, only if you or a guest taps a venue link.
7How long we keep it
We keep your invitation for as long as it needs to be available, at least one year after your wedding date, and payment records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your invitation sooner at any time.
8Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or raise a concern, by writing to hello@vbookstudio.com with your invitation link. You can correct most details yourself at any time using your private edit link.
9Security
All pages are served over an encrypted connection. Edit keys are stored only in a protected, hashed form, and each invitation is kept separate from every other.
